Concrete work in Newberry
Newberry is horse and acreage country, and that changes the job. Driveways out here are measured in hundreds of feet, not car lengths, and they have to carry a truck and trailer without spidering at the edges. That means proper thickness, real reinforcement, and edges that were tooled rather than left to crumble.
The other half of the work is pads: barn aisles, wash racks, equipment and shop slabs. Those get a different finish than a patio does, because a surface that has to be safe when it is wet is not the same surface as one that has to look good dry.

Western Alachua County has shallower limestone than Gainesville proper and more variable fill. On the long rural driveways we watch for soft spots along the run — one bad twenty-foot stretch is where the whole slab eventually fails, and it is far cheaper to fix before the pour than after.
