Concrete work in Bell
Bell is small, rural and mostly agricultural, and the concrete follows: equipment pads, barn floors, shop slabs, and driveways built to take a loaded trailer rather than a sedan.
When we do decorative work in Bell it tends to be a patio off the back of the house or a walkway to a carport — practical spaces, done well, rather than showpieces. That suits us fine.
It is one of the further corners of our service area, so we usually try to look at Bell jobs on the same trip as anything else we have going in Gilchrist County. Call and we will tell you honestly when we can get out there.
What the ground here does to a slab
Deep sand across most of the area. It drains as well as anywhere we work, but sand offers no cohesion at all, so form staking and edge support matter more here than they do on clay. A poorly staked form on sand shows up as a wavy edge forever.
Where you'll find us around Bell
We work all over Bell and the surrounding Gilchrist County area, including around SR-129, the Santa Fe River, Hart Springs and CR-232. If you are somewhere on the edge of that, call anyway — the map has soft edges.
