A quick hello from Steve and the family crew — and what you can expect from our new blog on concrete work across North Central Florida.
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by. I'm Steve Sommers, and along with my two sons, Jason and Sheldon, I run A2Z Concrete LLC out of Fort White, Florida.
We started this blog for one simple reason: most folks don't think about concrete until they need it, and when they do, there's a lot of confusing (and sometimes flat-out wrong) information out there. We'd rather give you straight answers.
What we'll be writing about
Expect practical, no-fluff posts on the kind of work we do every day across Gainesville, Lake City, High Springs, and the rest of North Central Florida:
- Driveways — what proper sub-base prep looks like in our clay-and-sand soil, and why it matters.
- Stamped patios & pool decks — pattern and color choices, sealing, and keeping them looking good through Florida summers.
- Repairs & resurfacing — when a slab is worth saving and when it isn't.
